This year at the Arizona State Campus, ASU Students For Liberty will be hosting the West Coast Students For Liberty Conference uniting liberty-minded students and activists to push forward an agenda of real change in our society; liberty.

October 24th will be a date lovers of liberty will unite on the beautiful campus of ASU to discuss, debate, and rejoice in the past, present, and future of liberty and its role in each of our lives.

Free food will be provided to fuel you throughout a day full of speakers, workshops, and great networking to help build and strengthen student groups around the West Coast.

- Western Conference Speakers -

  • David Nolan – Keynote Speaker:  David Nolan is a long-time activist on behalf of liberty.  He is regarded as the founder of the Libertarian Party in 1971 and creator of the famous Nolan Chart (the Worlds Smallest Political Quiz).  He has seen first hand the growth of our movement and the mistakes we made along the way.  Few speakers in the country have such valuable first hand experience.
  • Clint Bolick: Director of the Scharf-Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation at the Goldwater Institute.  The Goldwater Institute’s Center for Constitutional Litigation is the first of its kind and a new avenue for free-market organizations to advance freedom in the states.  Mr. Bolick is also a co-founder of the Institute for Justice.
  • Patri Freidman: The grandson of the great economist Milton Friedman, Patri Friedman is a theorist of political economy and serves as the Executive Director of the Seasteading Institute.
  • Matthew Ladner: Dr. Matthew Ladner is vice president of research for the Goldwater Institute. Prior to joining Goldwater, Ladner was director of state projects at the Alliance for School Choice, where he provided support and resources for state-based school choice efforts.
